JAPANESE CURRY DISHES

(and taste) after World War II,
becoming what is now a popular
household dish with its mild but
tantalizing mix of flavours.

GYOZA

Succulent pan-fried and
steamed dumplings with pork
or vegetable filling.

JAPANESE DESSERTS

Our desserts feature popular
Asian ingredients such as
sweetened red-bean paste
(anko), green tea powder
(matcha), and even banana!

Comfort for all.

Our concept is as simple as our menu. Japan has great
dishes that are not called sushi. We wanted to serve
different, awesome foreign food that is accessible for
all of Belgrade’s citizens. Accessible means it is
affordable, uses familiar ingredients in a totally
different way, and is set up in a relaxed atmosphere.

For this, we needed to keep Marukoshi simple and
straightforward. We selected a few of our favourite
dishes, domestic and Japanese beers, some great
table wine, sake, rakija, and a few harder drinks.
For us, less is more.

We are a startup made up of people from all sorts of
backgrounds. Marukoshi is a work in progress that will
benefit greatly from your opinions and feedback.
We welcome your suggestions!
